All things pumpkin spice, warm soups, and all the amazing colours Hamilton has to offer. In all the places I have lived, I have never been reminded so often of how beautiful the sunsets are, the escarpment views, and stunning colours that take over this time of year.
As most of you know, I am a mama to 4 kids. 3 only need me for my cooking skills, and taxi services, but that 4th one…. He is still in his innocent, wide-eyed, nature-loving era. I spent over 3 hours walking through a breath taking park- I may have met you there- Carlisle / Waterdown Courtcliffe Community Park, and the trees…gasp. The views…gasp.. I had a moment that is still living rent free in my head where my son and I were walking on a grass path, and he took my hand and held it as we walked for about 15 minutes. It might have been my favorite moment of the whole weekend. I hope I never forget it. Having older kids helps me relish the small moments, because they go so fast. Is this happening to you too? I am enjoying the change of summer to fall, because all it takes is one heavy rain, and all the leaves go at once.
